The same survey data, drawn four times. Pick the one that suits the room.

Four sizes, up to 30 by 40 inches
At 18 by 24 the soundings and channel markers are legible from a foot away. At 30 by 40 the chart reads as a wall sized document.

Drawn from the real thing
Actual survey data
Every shoreline, sounding, channel and marsh line is plotted from NOAA electronic navigational charts. The water is shaded in the real depth bands, 0 to 6 feet, 6 to 12, 12 to 18, 18 to 30 and deeper, measured at mean lower low water.
Printed to last
Museum quality enhanced matte paper, 189 gsm, with archival pigment inks. The surface is smooth and uncoated, so it holds fine linework cleanly rather than bleeding it.
Made to order in the USA
Nothing sits in a warehouse. Each print is made when you order it and ships in three to five business days, rolled in a protective tube or framed and ready to hang.
Designs you will not find elsewhere
These charts were drawn for this shop. They are not stock art, not a scanned reproduction of an old chart, and not available anywhere else.
Questions people ask
Which size should I get?
For most rooms, 18 by 24 is the one. It is big enough that the soundings and channel markers read from a foot away, and it hangs well on its own or in a pair. Go to 24 by 32 or 30 by 40 over a sofa, a bed or a mantel, where a smaller print gets lost.
Is the chart accurate?
The geography is, because it is plotted directly from NOAA chart data rather than drawn by hand. That said, these are decorative prints and are not intended for navigation. Charts change, and a print on a wall does not get corrected.
What is the difference between the four colorways?
Only the palette. The survey data underneath is identical. Classic is warm chart paper with graduated blues, Midnight is near black with deep teal, Blueprint is cobalt with white linework, and Terracotta is bone paper with clay red water.
What comes with the framed version?
The print mounted behind shatterproof plexiglass in a solid wood frame, black, white or red oak, with the hanging hardware already fitted. Framed prints come in 12 by 16 and 18 by 24.
How long does it take?
Each print is made to order and ships in three to five business days from within the United States.
My town is not listed. Can you make it?
Possibly. The engine that draws these works from public chart data, so anywhere with NOAA coverage is feasible. Get in touch and tell us the water you want.
